July 15-21, 2018 Camp Equipment List


Welcome to the 57th Annual Legion Gymnastics Camp at the Peace Garden. To make your stay at the camp as enjoyable as possible, please be sure to bring with you the following equipment, over and above the items identified in the Athlete's Information Page. Please have everything clearly marked with your name.


  • Gym shorts
  • Gym bodysuit (Girls)
  • 1 Swim Suit
  • Hair scrunchies
  • Gymnastic footwear - Optional
  • Running shoes - 2 pairs
  • 7 pairs socks
  • 7 pairs underwear
  • Several T-shirts
  • Sports shirts
  • Sweaters
  • 3 Towels, face cloth
  • Toothbrush,paste,comb,etc.
  • Camp hat
  • Raincape, rainy weather clothes
  • Tape - prewrap for ankle injuries (4-6 rolls)
  • Tensors
  • Water Bottle


NOTE: This camp does not have laundry service, so please come prepared.


Preparation Exersizes:

It is essential to prepare yourself physically for this camp. Between 6-8 hours of teaching instruction per day will be provided.

I would like you to work: flexibility - splits: 10-15 minutes per day.
Suggestion: run 1/2 - 1 mile per day, starting 3 weeks prior to camp.
