August 8 - 14 2010 (Week 5)

For boys and girls aged 10-18, who are either high level judo competitors or recreational beginners. You learn basic and advanced skills. Modern strategies are demonstrated to improve techniques in throwing, pinning maneuvers, chokes and arm locks. Coaches may include former Olympic and international champions.
The 49th Legion Athletic Camp is honoured to announce that our Guest Judo coach for our August 8-14, 2010 Judo Camp will be Jean Pierre Cantin.
He was a member of Canadian Olympic Team 1992; Pan-Am Champion in 1990 and 1994; Silver medalist at the Pan-Am Games in 1991; Bronze medalist at the Pan-Am Games in 1995; 12 time Junior and Senior National champion; Member of 5 World championship Teams (87, 89, 91, 93, 95); 14 years on the National Team; Bronze medalist at the Commonwealth Games in 1990; 8 year.
