Ricardo E. Martinez
Camp Director, Head Coach Basketball
Coach Martinez has been with Legion Athletic Camps since 2009, starting as an assistant coach and advancing to head coach a few years later. His experience at Legion Athletic Camp has given Coach Ricardo a deep appreciation for the impact that it has on each athlete he has come into contact with. As a camp coordinator, his goal is to ensure that every athlete that attends camp has a great time, learns about their sport and, more importantly, has an opportunity to create new friendships and social circles to help promote individual growth.
"Summer Camps helped me stay out of trouble, discover who I was as a person and helped me find confidence in all aspects of life. Some of my longest lasting friendships and some of my best memories as a kid come from summer camps. My goal is to provide all athletes that attend our camp with the same opportunity I had growing up."
