In addition to teaching, Matt's other passion is coaching. He has coached many different age levels from grade 7 to grade 12 for the past 12 years specializing in volleyball, basketball and badminton. As a coach, Matt's teams have won divisional championships, school tournaments and a provincial championship in basketball this year, while coaching at the Junior High level.
Over the past 5 years Matt has continued coaching, while working as assistant coach with Chris Coucherne at the Legion Athletic Camp.
"This has provided me a great opportunity to develop further as a volleyball coach and learn from other experienced coaches over the past 5 summers. I believe that at the Legion Athletic Camp, all athletes have an opportunity to learn, have fun and make many friendships along the way. I look forward to coaching your athlete this summer!"
